Masseter Botox is a procedure where Botox is injected directly into your masseter muscle – this is one of the muscles located on the side of your face that helps you chew. The masseter Botox procedure has become popular recently because it can slim a square face and reshape the jaw line.

Allow the area to dry, then lightly sprinkle the area with starch powder. Gently blow off any excess starch powder. The risk of symptoms is probably greatest in children treated for spasticity but symptoms can also occur in adults treated for spasticity and other conditions, and particularly in those patients who have an underlying condition that would predispose them to these symptoms. The initial listed doses of the reconstituted BOTOX typically create paralysis of the injected muscles beginning one to two days after injection and increasing in intensity during the first week. The paralysis lasts for 2-6 weeks and gradually resolves over a similar time period.
